Local Food First Stand
The Local Food project had a stand at the food festival for the duration of the weekend. The idea for the presence of the project was to encourage people to identify Wrexham based producers and gain awareness of the project and the work undertaken. The stand gave away over a 1000 free bags over the weekend which contained information on the project and the website. Many people asked questions and were keen to find out more about local food.

Local Food First Areas
Local Food First created two Wrexham branded areas, with the first being located in the foyer and the second being located in the arena area. The foyer saw six Wrexham producers being located next to one another in an area which had been decorated with Local Food First Wrexham bunting.  In the arena a further six Wrexham producers were grouped together along with the Wrexham and Shropshire Railway, Clear Black Wine Company and the Local Food Project, this area was also decorated with bunting. The idea behind the grouping of Wrexham producers and the bunting was to raise awareness among the public of food producers from Wrexham and the fabulous produce that came out of the county.
