Local Food First Wrexham

Five Wrexham producers, along with the Local Food Project Officer manned the Wrexham branded area which was situated in the Castle Gardens over the three days of the festival, they were:

• BLUE, Bettisfield
• Aballu Truffles, Llay
• Lovebite Cupcakes, Rossett
• Veggie Fayre, Rossett
• Nant Ucha Eggs, Garth

The Local Food First Wrexham stand included a large Wrexham back drop, flyers, rosettes, stickers, aprons, bags and banners. The idea was to promote Wrexham County Borough as a food producing area, along with giving food producers their first opportunity to sample a large food event. Attending Ludlow Food Festival gave producers the opportunity to network and obtain new contacts.

Several other Wrexham producers were present at Ludlow Food Festival, they were:
• Orchard Pigs
• Pen Y Lan Pork
• Seren Foods
• French Flavour

These producers were present in the main tent, they opted not to be involved with the Wrexham stand as they were more established and were able to afford the cost of a weekend stand. All four of them kindly promoted Wrexham and had Wrexham flyers on their stands.
